Google has added pages for businesses to its Google+ social media website, just like the fan pages on Facebook.
Similarily it’s announced that last week was its third largest for traffic, showing that it is growing, but it’s still very small compared to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and who amongst your friends actually uses it? and do you know what to do when you get there? looks like a large empty place doesnt it, that’s the clean layout for you!

It’s Friday 14th October and it’s new iPhone day. We’re a bit excited as we know our new phone is ready and waiting at the Vodafone store. But we don’t want to queue. We haven’t got time!
So what time should we go and collect? How long can we hang on for? How big is the queue? Why didn’t we just get it delivered?
We’re in the process of setting up Chorlton Arts Radio again. It will be online and this year on 87.7FM across South Manchester.
We’re broadcasting from a shop in Chorlton Precinct again and we’ve just got the keys. It’s an ex Polish shop and needs a little work!
We’ll be in there most weekends selling raffle tickets to help raise funds to run the project, come down and see us!
We’re currently planning some radio documentaries featuring ordinary people with extraordinary lives.

He’s been nominated for a Digital Hero award and could win £5,000 for his work setting up Chorlton Arts Radio in May 2010.
Digital Hero awards are given to outstanding individuals, working within UK community groups or charities, who are using the power of digital technology to implement bright ideas which bring about positive social change. The awards will be used to fund both new and existing digital projects.

A podcasting survey by Storm/Universal McCann reports that 32 percent of respondents increased their podcast use in the past six months.
In the same survey, 58 percent of respondents said they would welcome podcast versions of traditional marketing information, such as white papers and reports.
A report by eMarketer suggests that podcast audiences in the US alone will reach 50 million in 2010.
